BIO: JOHN COUSIN


John O. Cousin enlisted in the Army in 1967 and went to basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.  

After basic training, he was sent to Fort Rucker, Alabama, and from there went to Biloxi, Mississippi for Air Traffic Control Training.  Upon graduation he was sent to Verona, Italy, where he spent six months.  

He spent six months in Qui Nhon, Viet Nam and then went 10 miles inland to Land Army Heliport.  He ETS’d from there, back to Fort Rucker, Alabama.  

He served in the National Guard for one year, where he completed NCO Academy and graduated and was promoted to Staff Sergeant.
