Tom Hall served in the U.S. Navy 1971-1975. During 1972 he was deployed to Vietnam with Air Wing 11 aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Using his G.I. Bill Tom earned a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from California State University at Chico. His professional career encompassed over thirty years of service in veterans programs with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Alaska State Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS).  He retired in 2013 from VETS having served as the Alaska State Director for nine years. Tom has been a life member of DAV since 1983.
